I have scanned my PC and got a clean bill of health yet I keep getting pop ups telling me my files are encryipted, or I have a malfunction and a number of viruses how do I find out what they are they appear to be a left over from the free version of Macafee which I did not renew.
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
We can’t see what you can see, so aren’t able to determine any possible action/reason.
So a screenshot of the Alert/message/popup, etc. would be helpful. Create a screenshot on your computer and save it locally. Using windows explorer or other file management system drag and drop into your post.
You need to uninstall/remove any remnants of prior antivirus installation.
