Pop-Ups from MBAM Beta 2.0

It’s been happening for about an hour. At random MBAM will pop up and say Domain Block (xxx.ti83calculator.net). It’s included it’s IP and it’s and Outbound connection. I haven’t run anything suspicious so I’m kinda on High Alert right now. Also, Avast! hasn’t done anything about the connection

Anyone know how I can get that MBAM 2.0 Alert message back?

OTL is running. Will be followed by MBAM and aswMBR.

Just as a note: aswMBR will look suspicious. This machine was desgined with Windows 8 and switched to Win 7 HP SP 1 64Bit

Got the message again. Snipping Tool rocks

  1. No I haven’t
  2. Yes I have. However, what would be connecting to a website when I am not even surfing the web actively? I only have MC (Minecraft), TS (TeamSpeak) and Skype open at the time. All 3 shouldn’t be attempting to communicate to a “Calculator” website.

Look at Skype… Stop that from running at start and see if it still appears

It only pops up at random. However skype has been disabled. Will keep an eye out for it.

Anything in the logs?

No they looked clean, the site was a pageholder

Oh okay
