I am getting really tired of the AVAST pop ups. I have notifications on silent mode, but I am still getting. How do I turn them off?

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
There are other settings, I suggest you check these out.
You don’t say what Avast Program version you are using and posting in the General sub-forum doesn’t give a clue.

Managing pop-up notifications in Avast Antivirus Premium

  • https://support.avast.com/article/antivirus-popup-notifications/#pc
  • Scroll down to Stop offers for other products.
  • If you use Avast Premium Security, you can additionally stop seeing offers for other Avast products and Personalised Discounts. ** Avast UI > Menu > Settings > General > Personal Privacy.
  • Also check the AvastUI > Menu > Settings > General - Notifications, I would suggest using the Pop-up Notifications treatment - Limited Mode.

This is happening for me as well. Program is in silent mode and main program window is opening every 5 minutes. I am going to have to uninstall if this isnt addressed immediately. build 2510.10528.0

As you don’t specify or give details of what these are about it is hard to suggest something specific.

Did you check the other setting options I gave in my post above yours ?

I started a new topic that is more to the point - the main program window is reopening itself every few minutes. I close it and it reopens itself. So it’s not a popup, and not “about” anything per se, it is just reopening itself and stealing focus.
