Popups in 5.1

I must have missed it reading the beta form but I really like the fact that I can change the duration of the Popups in the settings. :slight_smile:

I’ve been waiting for settings like this for a while. I was thinking about asking AVAST Software to add such settings, but it looks like I won’t need to now.

Nice little addition in customisation. :slight_smile:

Is this feature only available in the Pro version? I haven’t found these settings in the Free edition.

OK. I “downgraded” back to 5.0.677 due to a driver conflict with the new 5.1.864, so this is why I’m not seeing the pop ups setting (pretty obvious to me now).

Before giving up with the new driver, it would be better try to troubleshoot.
Which was the driver conflicting? Or program?

As I mentioned in my original post, the problem is related to my Dell wireless card driver and its associated driver utility which is available within Control Panel. This driver has caused no problems with any other application so I see no reason to suspect that it suddenly needs to be replaced. My problem exists when Avast version 5.1.864 is installed, and goes away when it is uninstalled. Since a couple of other users have confirmed this problem on their own Dell laptops with the same card and driver, logic tells me that something changed in Avast 5.1.864 that is causing this issue. Version 5.0.677 exhibits no such behavior so I’m inclined to stay with that version until Alwil acknowledges the bug in the new version and fixes it.

Aside from the tests I described in that original post, what other troubleshooting actions would you suggest?

I’ve asked for help to the programmers.
Version 5.1 is very recent and we (users) don’t know how to solve some of the problems.

Thanks for the help. Based on the forum traffic it looks like a new build will be out in a day or two. I’ll try updating at that time and see if my problem is fixed.
