I switched to Avast because I was sick of AVG’s popups and invasiveness. I like my AV to sit there, SILENTLY, unless there’s a problem. I don’t want any updates, advisories, news, I don’t want any popups. Avast was selected because it had a “silent” mode. Now it seems, though, that “silent” mode is merely “quiet” - every time I open a new game, I get a popup telling me that the game has been added to my game list. I’ve disabled notifications from the tray icon via Windows, and I’ve checked that Avast is in Silent Mode, but the popups prevail. Is there a way to stop these popups, please?
Are you using the latest version??? (I can’t guarantee that that fixes it or not since I don’t play games and don’t have that Component installed.)
