Port scanners from AVAST cloud detected

Hello!

My Mikrotik routers detect port scanning attempts from IPs that belong to AVAST Cloud
Can anybody explain me why this happens?

Mikrotik scan detection settings: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Drop_port_scanners
Detected AVAST IPs: 5.62.48.120 ; 5.62.40.105

To start with, are you using any Avast software…!?

No, I,m not using avast software at work. Port scanning was detected on outside (wan) interfaces of my routers in 2 offices.

If so, it’s probably a misuse of Avast VPN.
