Possible Avast Issue After SP3 v5508 Install

Hello all,

I just recently did an NTFS reformat and slipstream install of SP3 v5508 (RC2 Refresh Beta) and I am now getting the following error periodically:

4/6/2008 9:55:53 AM avast! Error Client 90 N/A
Internal error has occurred in module aswar scan function failed!, function C0000005.

To verify this, I did a second NTFS reformat/reinstall again with the same results.

Previous to this install, I was running SP3 v3311 without issue.

Anyone else having the same problem and/or is Avast aware of this?

I get it at boot up in my logs but I have Windows Xp SP2 NTFS file system

Can someone from Alwil team please explain what this error effects (ie its function, importance etc)
