The Avast post in emails (Sent from an Avast virus-free computer, etc.) cannot be deleted in an email, and hence interferes with eliminating older posts in a long involved email. Is there a way to stop these Avast stickies from being placed in emails?

Yup, open Avast UI > Settings > Uncheck Enable Avast Email signature
Not sure if there’s any way to remove the signature from existing emails though.
IMO, it’s very intrusive on Avast’s part

It depends on how you look at it.
You can call it a promotion, but you can also call say it is a way to let the receiver(s) know you take security seriously.
