Thanks RejZor… Keep your good work.
Downloaded and prompt to be used
Thanks RejZoR, I not only remember 2.x but have been using it regularly, downloading the new version now.
Funny thing though is that it seems ultra slow on Vista. Don’t kow why but it takes several seconds for files which should be processed in miliseconds (Firefox cache files for example that are just few bytes or kilobytes in size).
I guess i’ll have to contact Sysinternals guys to see whats going on.
Thanks, RejZoR … downloaded and to be used later tonight.
No such issue on XP Pro SP3.
Yeah, it seems to be Vista specific issue…
It worked perfectly, RejZoR … thanks again for the updated version.
I tried it, and it seemed to work perfectly. However, I had it defrag my C partition and it took about 3 hours.
Is this normal?
Do you use Vista?
No… check my signature… I use xp pro.
Several things can contribute to long defrag times … among them being the size of the hard drive, the amount of files on the hard drive, types of files on the hard drive, how fragmented the drive is, etc.
My bad… didn’t give enough info. My computer is new. HD is 250GB sata divided into 2 partitions. C partition
has the OS and program files in it (104GB total, 9.5GB used). D partition has almost all data(127GB total, 2.9GB used); pictures, music, movies, setup software and miscellaneous junk. Even though it’s new, I thought I’d see how Power Defragmenter worked, so I tried it on the C partition only and had it go through each file. It did what it was supposed to do, but it did seem to take forever.

Say thanks to that idiot Andavari. I guess my tool was too much for his ego. He erased two of my threads on Piriform forums and now i don’t even bother. I’ll also erase all the credits about him from tool and my blog soon. If he is so arrogant, then i’ll be just the same back at him. Giving moderator rights to ppl like him is like giving nuclear weapons to dictators…
RejZor, When I click on the link: http://my.opera.com/rejzor/blog/2008/09/01/power-defragmenter-3-0-released
I get: 404 Not Found. The page you are looking for could not be found. It may be temporarily or permanently unavailable, or you may have misspelled the address (URL).
Opera blog works in a strange way. When you release a new entry the URL is formed with date inside it. But over time that date just goes away and only regular post name is left. Don’t know why but it’s annoying. Just visit www.rejzor.tk instead.
Thanks RejZor.

I'll also erase all the credits about him from tool and my blog soon. If he is so arrogant, then i'll be just the same back at him. Giving moderator rights to ppl like him is like giving nuclear weapons to dictators...Ha ha Good Idea! and thanks for the software. Downloaded and installed.
I don’t think i’ll update it… It’s still hosted on web space of my former ISP lol. It’s too much work and i’m a very busy man (and a lazy one too). Opera blog space is now my primary space for everything i do, my software releases and so on.
I’ll try to centralize the downloads, probably on Live SkyDrive which is easy to manage. Or FileFront mirrors.
We’ll see. I’ll announce everything. Just remember the www.rejzor.tk and you’ll know the rest
