Hi, I have used Avast (free version) for ages without any issues. I run standard Windows 10 on an HP desktop. There have been no other changes to the PC that I know of other than the fact that I upgraded my version of the avast engine. I can now no longer print from word / excel etc or add a printer through the control panel as I get a message "active domain service is currently unavailable. I notice that my printer spooler service appears not to start when the PC is rebooted. the only way I can get round the issue is to uninstall avast, then restore the PC to an earlier date. Am I alone here? Has anyone else had this issue recently. I only noticed it 30 April.
I’m also using Avast Free (latest) with Windows 10 on my Asus desktop. No problems printing from Word 2010
