Printer prints garbage

Everytime windows starts and my printer is turned on, it prints out a few characters.

The printer is also unable to print, the document is spooled, but it takes a very long time, then it there would be a message that says that the document failed to print.

Is this a virus or what? If so, no anti-virus scanner is able to detect it.

What Windows, Printer(usb or network) do you use, when happened it the first time, did you try to disable the Spooler, what AV-Programms did you use?

You could also post a Hijackthis log:
Download it here http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ , then unzip the file and double click on the “HijackThis” icon.
When finished loading click on the “Scan button”.
Next click on the “Save Log” button. Save the log somewhere you will remember and open the log file with notepad. Then copy the contents and paste them in a reply to be checked. (Taken from http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=6624)

To me, it rather sounds like a problem with the printer drivers (or with the Windows configuration in general). What printer is it?
