Prior Logon Information Being Deleted

I logon to my bank entering the logon credentials. I logoff but log on again the same day. The bank website allows me to enter the userid and password without a problem. Before shutting down the computer I run CCleaner. The next day the bank website won’t let me logon until it sends a logon security code that I have to enter before I can logon. As if I’m logging on for the first time. The bank does NOT leave any cookies from the prior logon so that is not what’s being deleted by CCleaner. The same exact situation happens with a second bank website. The Avast browser History shows previous logons for both banks. So what is the Avast browser leaving about the bank logons that CCleaner is clearing?

This computer is running Windows 10.

I would say that this is a question you should ask of CCleaner - community.ccleaner.com - as it would be have to answer that. In regards of the Avast Secure Browser it would be hard when there is nothing to compare it to in what CCleaner is doing.

You would have to look at your CCleaner settings to see what it is clearing and how it might impact security settings/browser history, etc.
