problem deleting a file

Hi,

When I was downloading opera browser from their website my computer kept on restarting because of zap (Zonealarm pro) but now it’s working fine cause I uninstalled it and installed kerio personal firewall which is so much better
But my problem is when I was downloading opera the computer restarted and firefox stoped it but I can’t resume the download so I have to restart it again (that’s fine cause I got broadband) but the old opera I was downloading which did not finish I can’t delete the file! whenever I try it says:

Can anyone help me delete this file please? oh and can anyone tell me a good forum that can help me with these kind of problems for windows xp/linux etc? and sorry for this off topic ::slight_smile:

nope it won’t stop the explorer.exe :-\ what if I press Kill Process?

Should work… But unlocker should work to, at least, deleting the file on next boot…

Are you saying that the file stays locked even after you restart your computer, for example?

Restarting computer, safe mode everything won’t work >:(

You could use the “Advanced File Remover” feature in RejZoR’s avast! External Control available from http://www.excessive-software.tk/

Can you try this?
DEL \.[i]drive letter[/i]:\path\archive name
