Finally, after more than 6 months , I discover that my problems uploading files from browser to wordpress site and also on another php site are caused by avast. If I disable avast, uploading work ok, but with avast active the uploading start, upload some kb and then stop. After some minutes of timeout wordpress give me a http error. I usually use palemoon as my default browser. But I have same errors also with firefox. I have avast free (always updated) on win7x64.
Same help on this or someone that have same problems?
this might be a problem I have been having to all week trying to upload to my wordpress ( have my own woedpress on own site ) it was very slow and hangs never thought it be avast I just uninstalled the old install and have a new install from avast site turned off avast and tried uploading small and large files and it it went through fast but turned avast back on and it is hanging again I will put my website in avast web shield list and see if that helps I have Windows 10 and 64 bit
This may be the same issue I discovered with ālargeā projects in App Inventor that did not receive any attention from Avast. I have turned the Avast Web Shield off until someone stumbles on the bug and fixes it.
