Hi everyone
For a couple of weeks I have a problem when I watch a youtube video with Avast secure browser
First : When I start the video, i have an error message, then after a few seconds the video starts
Then : while watching a video, sound is always OK but image stops and restarts again and again
This is not systematic but I never had this problem before

Could you perhaps attach a screenshot of the error message to your reply?
Did you test the same video in a different browser, if not, could you please (when it occurs again)?

I get this message every time I start a new YouTube Video. The message comes on twice and then the video starts.

Nevertheless, please clarify if the result is the same when you play youtube videos in a different browser?
The problem is only in Avast browser. For this reason I watch YouTube in Brave now. No problem with Chrome either, except for the annoying ads.

If the issue only occurs in SB then I would suggest that you clear the cache or try “Stealth Mode”.
You can also try reset (copy and paste into URL/address bar) secure://settings/reset

I’ve cleared the cashe several times and reset settings (I never changed them, I’m new to Avast browser) but the problem continues, however it works great in Stealth Mode.

You could try to disable the extensions (might be caused by corrupted extension), or simply just re-install
ASB.This should fix any corrupted data.
