You said that avast! Antitheft noticed “Before installing Avast Anti-Theft following issues need to be addressed …” right? Did you follow suggestions from avast? What happened?
Besides, please make sure that AntiTheft is set as device administator.

To install avast! AntiTheft correctly, you have to set it as an device administrator. Go to Settings>Security>Select device administrators and check if Antitheft is set as administrator or not.
