I have a 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium notebook.
As an antivirus I have installed (and updated) Avast Free (the free version).
For a couple of months, I have been noticing a certain incident that occurs randomly (that is, it does not always occur, nor do I find any specific reason to trigger it) but it is happening more frequently (although it is not always happening ). The incident is as follows:
-I start the notebook.
Down to the right the Avast icon appears with a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside it.
I open the Avast user interface and the following message appears:
“He’s vulnerable.
Some shields are disabled. ACTIVATE.”
Clicking ACTIVAR exits: “you are protected”.
That is, in some occasions the notebook is initialized with Avast “turned on”, while on other occasions, it is initialized with Avast with the shields deactivated.
This only happens at the beginning. If you initialize with the activated shields, I do not see them falling off.
It took me a while to answer because I was doing checks with different antimalware to see that I had the notebook clean. Giving a result that it actually was without any maleware.
I decided to uninstall and reinstall Avast free … but the problem I mentioned continues.
I have the updated version of Avast: 17.5.2302 (build 17.5.3559.0)
The version of the definition of virus is: 170627-2
