One week ago I found that my ibanking ibank.procreditbank.com.ua isn’t working.
Helpdesk of my bank advised me to investigate possibility that antivirus is blocking the requests of the ibank client.
After switch off Avast on 10 minutes everything working fine. I tried to add URL *.procreditbank.com.ua to the exceptions but it didn’t help.
Can anybody advise how I should set-up Avast?
What os/sp?
What exact version of avast?
Getting a error when trying to visit your banks website?
Windows 7 last updates
After the launch of Java-applet I enter the password and the application freezes on the long time.
If I do the same with switched-off Avast everyting is fine
Try it with another browser (Opera) and let me know the result(s).
If it fails there also, disable https checking in avast and try again.
I disabled HTTPS checking but nothing changed.
I tried in Chrome and Firefox - only it’s working with disabled Avast
Disable one shield in avast and try again.
If it does not change anything, enable the shield again and disable another etc.
I switched off check box “Scan trusted sites” - not working
After disabling “Web shield” Java applet is working. So, as I wrote at the start - problem in the web-shield. I should specify someting that *.procreditbank.com.ua is allowed.
Please tell me the size of the file ashWebSv.dll and what version it is.
What you have is very similar to this:
https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=136832.0
ashWebSv.dll 380968 BYTES. 25.11.2014
hmm, I have one the exact same size: version 10.0.2208.712
Right click the file > properties > version tab
I have the same version
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/java_blocked.xml
Give that a try.
Same problem. Unable to use ibank.procreditbank.com.ua unless all avast shields are disabled. Please help.
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/java_blocked.xml recommandations were used. And URL was added to Avast exceptions.
Windows 7 Pro, SP1
ashWebSv.dll - v.10.0.2208.712
Did either of you try:
-
Including the entire URL (without using wildcards in your exclusion)?
-
Try using another browser (sometimes compatibility factors with browsers can cause odd things to happen with banking websites)
Oh and:
- Make sure your Java is up to date.
