Problem with Reporting tasks

Hello,

I’ve installed ADNM.
I’ve deployed all my clients.
All is ok but when I execute a reporting task,
it finished with unknown error and without any report.

Is anyone could help me ?

First of all, we would like to know some questions :

  1. What is avast installer file that you using to installed on your system ? Whether adnm with MSDE or without MSDE?
  2. During installation progress, do you install with additional 3rd party application like Crystal Report and database on your system?
  3. Is there any details error information displayed during run and generate the report?

  1. I’ve used ADNM without MSDE.
  2. My database is on a SQL Server 2008 R2.
  3. No detail, only : “Failed (unknown error)”
    But in the error log, there is this information :
    10/11/2010 07:44:50 1289371490 Système 3048 COM error in repGenerate(): Crystal Reports ActiveX Designer-Logon failed.
    10/11/2010 07:45:04 1289371504 Système 3048 Error in repGenerate, LoadLibraryEx failed with error 0000007E.

Have you make sure that AMS Database on your system has been compatible with your Database system?

According to ADNM User Guide page 6 of 80, there is information that :

For larger networks, the AMS is expected to be installed on a dedicated computer. It is also possible to deploy multiple AMS’s (each having its own database). These can then be instructed to replicate their databases on a regular basis, and also to upload all scanning results to a dedicated AMS on which enterprise-wide reporting can be carried out

I’am afraid your AMS didn’t connected to your DB.

But when I perform a connection Test in AMS tools, the test is ok.
