Hi, Avast! has worked great for a year. It just told me there was a program update, I update via Avast! now no email accounts connect, browsing is painfully slow and web rep has given up completely.

I had to remove it anyway, even with avast! disabled and setting out look back on ssl nothing would connect.
I assume something borked by using the program updater.
It all working again now. (without avast!)
