Program updates

Hello,

I hope you are all well, first of all I would like to say thank you for this web forum as I find it very helpful and I think everyone on here is very helpful and friendly so thank you.

I am using Avast Free 5.0.418 I have the program update set to automatically update when there is a new program update available, my question is how long after the program update is released will Avast take to update the program?
Will it update the program 1 or 2 days after the program update is released or does does it take longer than 1 or 2 days?

I have done all the program updates manually, as I never got any notifications that new program updates released I knew program updates were released only after going to the UI and seeing program was out of date.
I would like the program to be updated automatically that’s why I set program update on automatic.

Program updates can happen anywhere within a 7 day cycle provided you have auto updates for program checked off.
I don’t because I don’t want to be the first to have the program itself updated. :slight_smile:
I like to check the forum after an update has been announced to make sure there isn’t any adverse posting going on. :slight_smile:
