Does anyone know what this program might be? winsysban.exe . I think it appeared on my system yesterday with some other junk which i have removed, but this one seems to be undetected by avast! , adaware or spybot. Zone Alarm gives product name as “project 1”, and it is tring to connect to internet every few minutes. Is it something dangerous?

BTW … are you sure your Spybot program and definitions are up to date? ???
What OS are you using? If the OS is not 2000 or XP, then please post again. If it is 2000 or XP, then try using ewido since you say Spybot did not detect it. Download it, check for updates, and then run it. Ewido is also free after it’s trial period and can be found here:
