Hi Fellows,
Today after updating to avast! FREE antivirus 6.0.1352 beta, I experienced performance improvement when surfing web with Google Chrome. Lately I switched to avast! FREE from avast! IS due to terrible internet slowdown (and my license was about to expire) and high usage of resources. Today I just downloaded avast! IS and installed in TRIAL mode. Now it seems working well and no browsing speed degration.
Do you guys experiencing this improvement?

May I know which type of internet connection you are using?
It’s 512Kb/128Kb ADSL mate 
Earlier ( with Old versions) I didn’t experience any browsing problems with Chrome. But after 6.0.1289, it started. However now with this beta I’m seeing this improvement.
It may due to “Script Shield now works with Google Chrome, all versions of Firefox and Acrobat Reader”

Well you are having quite enough internet speed.
Yes you are right the Script Shield will load while you go on-line, because the most of infections from web are malicious scripts.
