Protected through AVAST Premier but HJT found something strange. Virus or Trojan

Hello,
Hoping, that I can get some help here from the community.
Facts: System: Windows 10
AVAST Premier protected from Start till switch off
Browser: Mostly Google but also using Microsoft Edge and Firefox
When recognizing, that my browser became slower and slower and downloads were on snailing speed, I wondered if there was something wrong. Since my AVAST Premier convinced me, that my system is safe and fully protected, i still was curious whether there was a Virus or Trojan in my system, or not. So I tried to run HIGHJACKTHIS and became a logfile with many similar entries such as this example: 023 - Service: @SystemRoot%\system32\snmptrap.exe,-3 (SNMPTRAP) - Unknown Owner, followed by the message that the file snmptrap, is missing.
The @ tells me that here a lot of messages are being send to…whom? A hacker? Those entries refer to about 24 different programs.
I will be very grateful if somebody could give me the right answers. Thank you very much for your efforts. Greetings, hohell

HijackThis is obsolete and not used by malware experts anymore … FRST is the new tool now :wink:

upload snmptrap.exe to www.virustotal.com and test
If tested before click rescan for a fresh result … post link to scan result here

HiJackThis v2.0.4 does not support Win 10 and is no longer used by most malware fighters for that reason (among many other reasons). If you want a more thorough examination of your system, please follow the steps here:

Please follow the directions for scans in this topic and attach as many of the logs as you can run.

snmptrap.exe is a process related to the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
This process listens for SNMP trap messages and processes them accordingly.
If it is running, it doesn’t say anything about if there is malware or not as this is a legitimate Windows process.
