Hi everybody. I’ve scanned my computer with mbam and i found many files infected by this “PUP.Dealio” You can find an attachment of the log also.
Can someone help me on this. Thanks in advance.
What is PUP (potentially unwanted program)

I had a long debate about this with MBAM (and in the topic link Pondus gave) as some time ago it detected this on my system. I know for a fact that my system is clean and I basically reported it as an FP and contributed to a topic in the MBAM forums.
Unlike your detection there were zero other associated files or registry entries only one.
The problem is that they are in this case jumping on a toolbar which is considered a PUP, not it is up to you if you consider it potentially unwanted or not. e.g. were you aware that when installing pdfforge it had a toolbar option.
If you are unsure and don’t use or need the toolbar then just run MBAM again and allow it to deal with it (Remove Selected option).
At worst it would mean that you couldn’t run that toolbar (a minor loss) at best you have peace of mind and wouldn’t keep nagging you on every scan unless you Ignored it.
