Purchased SW doesn't work. How to actually collect on your 30 day guaranty

Hi,

I purchased a two year subscription to Avast on 10-April-2012. The installation claimed the install was successful but when the computer restarted a dialog box appeared in the middle of the screen saying:

===========
"CAvastTrayIcon: AvastUI.exe - Application Error

The Instruction at 0x00414ab8 [this number changes]. The memory could not be written

Click on OK to terminate the program"

If I click OK a new pop-up (with a new number) displays in the middle of the screen.

Also, in mail, a voice will say something like “suspicious item found” while receiving for a particular e-mail account, and that account would not receive any more e-mails.

I put in a trouble ticket on 11-April-2012 regarding this, but had not heard back from you (as of today, I have not heard anything regarding this).

Because your software completely disables my ability to receive e-mails (not to mention the ever-present pop-up), and I have not received any attention on the trouble ticket, I had to uninstall it.

Because I have not heard back from you about it I would like to get my money back. Your advertising claims there is an unconditional “money back” guaranty, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to get my money refunded.

I put in a trouble ticket (#BEF-725499) on 13-April-2012, asking what I must do to get a refund, but, like the first trouble ticket, this one has not be answered.

I have uninstalled your software for a competitor’s 30-day trial. Can you please tell me what I must do to obtain a refund for my purchase.

Thank you for your help.

-John

What antivirus did You use before avast ?
Did you uninstall it before installing avast ?
Did You use a removal tool to clear any leftover files that may conflict before installing avast ?
.

Hi, just for the record; I’ve checked the ticket and have found out that you had been offered a full refund today at 10:52.
