Qisable temporarily Avast Screen Saver

Hi,

I use the Avast screensaver to scan my disks regularly.

BUT I have also scheduled tasks that run weekly when the computer is idle.

The screensaver has always precedence on the tasks and the scan takes so long
that my scheduled tasks have no chance to run unless I leave the computer on
overnight, which I dislike.

Is there a way/command that would disable temporarily the screensaver before running
the scheduled task and re-enable it afterwards ?

Thanks for your help

Enable/disable screensaver using command line

But using Windows Tasks, you won’t schedule avast scannings.
Using avast schedule, you won’t run the command line above…

No.

Thanks a lot for the link. This is exactly the utility I need

You are right. But if I can use the screensaver without interference with scheduled tasks then I won’t use scheduled Avast scans

Thanks again.
