I have Avast Premium Security running on a Windows 11 PC.
The PC is patched and all software are up to date.
The PC has QNAP HDP PC Agent installed to connect the PC to my QNAP NAS so it can backup.
Avast is blocking the connection and I can’t for the life of me find out why / where.
The PCs network is set to private and I can access the NAS via a webpage and via mapped network drives
I’ve added Firewall rules for the specific TCP ports (11172 & 11173)
I’ve added a Firewall rule for the application to accept ALL traffic from everywhere
I’ve unchecked Enable Anti-Rootkit Shield
However, HDP PC Agent still won’t connect to the NAS unless Avast is disabled.
How do I find out where it’s being blocked and barring uninstalling Avast, how do I fix it?
