Currently, im using free version of avast 4 (avast 4 home free edition) and using
the network shield, standard shield, web shield and p2p shield.

So, does the free AVAST 4 home kill spywares and malwares too?
Or just the virus.

Question2. Im currently using ad-aware SE for antispyware. Is this the best free antispyware? Or should I install a different one

Last question. My computer is Windows Xp and im using windows firewall. Is this enough or should I install Zone Alarm firewall.

Please help me~

Some spywares are detected. Not all of them… neither a software is perfect.
Use layered defense and use a good antispyware side-by-side with avast. There are tons of suggestions here in forums…

It’s a good one. But I don’t think it has good detection rates. Try a-squared or AVGas :wink:

It’s good to have a full firewall. ZoneAlarm is not the only good one. You can try it, you can try Comodo also :wink:

"look" for slightly different "things" ; 1) Ad-Aware Personal  2) Ewido; however pick your
 "version" at www.filehippo.com/download_ewido/   3) FREE version of
 "SUPERantispyware" from www.superantispyware.com .

  Should definitely get a "replacement" for the 1-way Windows "firewall" . There are many
  to pick from by going to www.spychecker.com/software/firewall.html   AND/OR
  www.filehippo.com/software/firewalls/  .
