I watch my email shield log in programdata pretty closely and usually it detects incoming emails which malware ect and it moves to the chest everytime.
However this AM i noticed it just said File was successfully deleted for the same kind of file that normally gets moved to chest…
Is this something that has changed or normal? Haven’t noticed it just delete the files usually it just moves to the chest… Just double checking really.

Pretty much most days lately get a email sent which avasts blocks to my outlook, usually It’s called Other:Malware-gen [Trj] (0)
it’d always move it to the chest, But started deleting it today.
Was wondering if it was normal or not that’s all.
Do they containe a attachment?
Lots of malware comes true mail with fake pdf / word doc attached. Popular is fake mail from UPS / FedEx / DHL and others
It is often named invoice or tax return or similar to trick you to open it, it is actually a .exe file so when opening it run run the program and install a ransomware
So depending on the file/malware your antivirus may delete and not quarantine
