Random Nervousness, Posting in case of some minor support.

Hoi! So i was browsing a web page and randomly clicked one of the various buttons that page had on it (don’t recall the page anymore itself actually. Huh) and it redirected to me one of those fake, “Your windows computer is infected with 100000 carp” things.

Now I managed to exit out of it rather easily, but i’m slightly worried it installed something scriptwise or something in the background? I have no way of knowing because avast scans are clean and personally i think i might be too paranoid.

So i need to do all this? For a website I’m not sure if it did lasting damage? I’m even more worried now, haha.

Alright MBAM said i had nothing wrong. Here’s the logs.

Think of it as a general checkup. its just log files needed so a malware expert can check to see if your pc is clean or not.

Theres no need to worry.

It should also serve as a good lesson that just randomly clicking buttons can have consequences…

Heya sorry to kinda bump this but idk if my comp is clean or not. eddy? Any advice?
