Hey guys I use the free version of Avast. I recently went on piratebay (did not dl anything illegal was just checking out some stuff) and then I randomly got a pop-up to 888 poker site. I clicked the X. Then I finally wondered… WHAT IF THAT WAS A VIRUS. So I searched 888 poker site on google and the avast web rep thing said that it had a really bad rating from alot of people. I scanned with avast and malwarebytes and I came clean. But I’m still wondering if pop-ups can give you viruses and I’m very paranoid right now… 
just surfing a infected website can give you virus…
you may have some browser/toolbar crap…so run this program

AdwCleaner…click searc, when the log pops up close it and click delete, it will then restart your machine
