"Re-Captha..." infection

While using my Samsung S23 android mobile phone to search for an emergency scanner website (we had about ten cop cars and ambulances speed by a nearby road… so, yes, I wanted to know what was going on and, yes, we live near a US Navy base…) my Android phone got infected with some ‘captha’ thing (NOT captcha–at least, that’s not how it was listed). A “re-captha-version-3-37.top…” AND then wild ads started popping up everywhere. YES I HAD MY AVAST SECURITY PREMIUM RUNNING. I leared Chrome and it “appears” to have stopped. But I’d like to be sure. I’ve run Cleanup and Premium Security. Other than a hard-boot reset of my phone, what else can/should I do? Help, please. Thank you! ~Linnea in FL
