Whenever I view a site scan report and click “Force a re-scan”, the site begins to reload/update itself, but it seems to get stuck on trying to connect to sitecheck.sucuri.net and the loading circle next to site title on the tab box keeps spinning but nothing happens. However, the site seems to work without problems on mobile Firefox.
I already sent Sucuri an email about this issue, but I’m curious if anyone’s having the same problem ???
I have found many of the analysis sites can be a bit slow, there must be times when they must have a heavy load. Not to mention it would also depend on how complex the site to be scanned is.
However securi.net seems to be fine most of the time, I just had it scan avast.com and that loaded fast as it has been done 2 days ago. Forcing a rescan for avast.com, didn’t take that long at all.
I tried to scan some simple sites I’ve scanned as a test before but they also seems to be left stuck. I’m not sure how log this would’ve been goig on on my browser since I just came back from a week long trip and the site was working fine just before that.
What browser did you use there?
Notoce, that Sucuri is specially affiliated with Google Chrome.
After the latest update the scan results load rather fast.
The problem seems to have fixed itself over the night, since the site works normally again. When I performed the scans on the same sites I tried yesterday, Sucuri had given them “Unable to connect” errors resutls, even though in scans I tried to do on mobile browser they showed up normal green.
Here’s Sucuri’s answer to my mail, if anyone’s interested:
Thanks for sending us issues with out SiteCheck site. We know that sometimes it takes quite long it it may look as if the page loading stuck. Sometimes browsers may even show so "connection problems". We are aware about these issues and currently working on a new version of the scanner from-end. We hope it will work much better.
