Re update sep 8 2010

Hi i did the update and after that and restarted computer i could not get Internet Thu Windows Internet Explorer or FireFox browser.
But could still us other programs like Teamspeak 3 and Hyperlobby the 2 need the net to work

I did need to do a fresh install of win 7 hp 64 about 2 months ago but lost my Activation code but still have my license file.

I bought the Avast pro with the same e-mail as i used here on the forums

I hope you can help me with this

The most common cause of this is a firewall blocking the changed components after a program update:
What is your firewall ?
Does it allow avastSvc.exe internet access ?

  • If it does delete the entry for it and reconnect to the internet, this should force the firewall to ask permission again.

I tried that and it’s still the same :cry: I’ve had to do a system restore point to get the browser working to come here. :frowning: I have never had any probs in the past.

It’s only browsers that not working every thing else is like Team Speak and weather update are. ??? The browsers i use are FireFox and Explorer.

it was all working fine before the last update. ???

I use Win 7 64bit Home prem and firewall only what comes with windows
