Real suspicious file vs. incompatibility with Spyware Doctor

I recently upgraded Avast and now have been getting recurrent messages that Win32: Enistery is being blocked in an “object” that looks like one of the downloader/unpacker files for my Spyware Doctor. I’ve used both programs in tandem because they usually seem to play well with each other. I am not getting the message on full scan by either program. When I click the link that should be allowing me to put the file on the OK list, nothing appears to happen, so I’m getting the same message (apparently) over and over. I’ve attached a screenshot that shows both the message and the Avast interface with the Avast version identified. Can someone give me a hand sorting this out?

welcome to the forum. what version of spyware doctor are you using? sense it comes with its own antivirusprogram in it. and using two at the same times is not recommended so I suggest you uninstall spyware doctor, and use the program malwarebytes antimalware instead.

Well it appears to be unpacking a virus signature update and the signatures aren’t encrypted so the file system shield has alerted on the detection of a virus signature (what it is supposed to do).

Since this is also a Suspicious File Block, but you know A) what it is, B) you installed Spyware Doctor and C) presumably you knew that it was updating ?

If you can answer yes to all of those then you could reasonably click on the ‘Add the file to the exclusion list’ option.
