Hi team,
I’m the developer of an Android app that is published on the Google Play Store, and I’m facing an issue where Realme/Avast’s built-in security scanner flags my app as:
Android.Riskware.AdCheat.AppAD.WAB.BLGG
This warning appears only on the Play Store–signed build.
The exact same app in debug and local release builds does not trigger any security warnings on any device.
I’ve double-checked my codebase, dependencies, ProGuard rules, and Play App Signing configuration and haven’t found anything suspicious. My app does not use pop-up ads or any ad-cheating behaviour as the warning suggests.
I am assuming this might be a false positive, but I’m not sure how to confirm or resolve it.
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Charan Kotturi
