Refund has not been processed

Hello all. I submitted a ticket on the 17th requesting a refund. I got the generic response saying avast! had received my ticket. However, it is the 26th and I still have not received a refund. I was told in 5 to 7 business days I would get it. I paid with a debit card. What’s the hold up here? Thanks in advance.

didnt know about the 10 day wait…i guess ill be patient… though what proplexe’s me is how does the same computer get charged twice ?

Still haven’t received my refund. I have not updated or submitted another a ticket.

Ein, would you mind to check your SPAM folder? We replied you on 27.2.2015. Or log in to support.avast.com to check our reply online.
You were supposed to receive 2 emails. One from our support system that we started to process your request. And the other one from our payment portal to accept the payback…

Let me know if you were able to finish it or if you need more help.

Hi Ein,

Your refund was posted to your card on 28 February. As it could take 5-7 business days to reach your account, we are still within this window.
Anyhow, could you please check it with your bank/cc company? :slight_smile:

Hello moroni, I spoke to my bank this morning.

I wasn’t thorough enough looking through my bank account. I actually received the refund on March 2nd! :o Many thanks for the prompt refund. My fault for not realizing it.
