I tried to request a refund for the three products purchased as the products do not function as advertised despite multiple attempts to install them. I followed the refund instructions provided on the website for all three products, but unfortunately, the refund process is inaccurately presented and the steps (with photos) are not as they say, it forces you to go to the chat and I have spent hours and multiple days trying to reach a representative through both phone and chat support—3 times on the phone and 6 times through the chat option—without ever being able to get in contact with someone. I waited so long on the chat that it ended itself. I was even on hold for over two hours, yet I was unable to get in touch with anyone. The help center’s support process only leads in circles without providing any accurate assistance. The chat is not answered nor is the phone which leads me to believe that is a tacit being used to argue that a customer did not make an attempt to request a refund within the time frame. However, I made my first attempt on the same day of purchase.

Yes same with me, the chat function does not give an agent i stayed in it for 6hrs while i did something on the side, no one showed up. Will not let me send refund due to it sending me to the chat. On the phone its the same no answer just on hold music for hours and hours.
Yes, I am furious. I tried every way possible to get hold of them. I will keep hounding them. I will tell the truth to everyone on the internet if I have to. This is fraud.

Same! I’m experiencing the same issue. I used to chat function for hours and there was no agent being connected. I also tried to call using the phone number provided for hours and no one answered. There does not seem to be any other way to contact the Avast support team.
