First of all I canceled my subscription prior to my trial period ending but…. They still charged me for my subscription anyway! I have tried over and over to complete my refund request without any luck. I’m definitely questioning the legitimacy of this company. My next step is to contact PayPal and give them the details so maybe they will help me out. In the past, when I’ve ever had an issue with any business, PayPal has always taken care of it. I’m having this issue. I cancelled the free trial but they renewed it anyway at a cost of £79.99. The refund policy is worthless because you can’t complete it without having a ‘chat’ to which no-one ever responds. You and I have been scammed.
I notified
avast last year (2024) I didn’t want automatic renewal however I have been charged for 4 renewals so have been trying to request refunds for these payments. When I fill in your required form to give details my tel. no. is rejected with note"invalid format". I’ve tried all kinds of filling in my tel. no. but this problem remains. This is stopping my refund requests from being submitted. Please advise what format is required for tel.no.
