Well avast does generate the unp9999999999999.mdmp files in the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\log folder if there are avast problems.
I don’t know if it is this key which is responsible for the creation of said dumps.

This has been reported to MBAM and last report is that it has been fixed. Since the key disappears on it’s I would guess it’s not important to restore it. To make sure that MBAM is no longer detecting and removing it I’ll have the OP restore it and run MBAM.
BTW this was another case of Avast saying the subscription status is “active” but that there are 0 days remaining. Would it be save to say the key was created as a result?
