Hi, i download and registered my home version and after a few weeks, it says i need to register again. I did so online (follow your instructions) and it says it’ll send me an email with new registration code.

i haven’t received anything as of yet!

also; why do i have to registered more than once? I had a valid registered code when I first install the software.

Did you enter the key you were sent first or are you talking about the demo key which lasts 60 days.

You have to register avast home every 14 months so that you can continue to get the VPS updates.

You should have received an email from register @ avast.com (without the spaces) with your registration key. If you didn’t it is possible either your ISP anti-spam or your own anti-spam filter may have deleted it, ensure you allow the above email address. You could try re-registering and using a different email address for a different domain.

also, i saw that we have to re-register every 1 year; but i’ve only have this on the pc for a few months and it’s still asking me to re-register

The Registration process cannot be completed without your entering registration code, which is supposed to be sent to your inbox. Somehow, you haven’t gotten the mail, which pended your registration process in the middle.

Q: I haven't received the license key, why is this?

A: The distribution of license keys is an automatic process, nobody decides whether to send or not send the key. Here are the most common reasons for not receiving the key:

* The e-mail address you have entered is not valid. In this case, the e-mail has been probably returned to us.
* Your e-mail server is unavailable or reports errors while receiving the e-mail with the license key. It is possible that this e-mail will be delivered later, usually the delivery is re-tried at 4 hours intervals, for a few days.
* Your e-mail box is full, so the e-mail with the license key can't be delivered.
* You are using some kind of spam protection, and the e-mail with the license key has been rejected for some reason. You can add register@avast.com to your trusted e-mail addresses to solve this problem.

If you don’t receive the e-mail with the license key during one day, we recommend you to register again, using a different e-mail address and/or e-mail server.

Just for sure, here is the registration form. You only need to fill the E-mail and Re-type email, Name and Country or Region fields. If you have further problems, forum members will be happy to help you.

If you haven’t entered the registration key (Insert Registration Key - Video) that you would have been sent by email, then you only have 60 days (two months) use before avast will ask you register.
