Submit to VirusTotal and if confirmed send sample to avast, see http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=34950.msg293451#msg293451 , how to report it to avast! and what to do to exclude them until the problem is corrected.
Thank David I’ll do this when I get home from work
David I’ve email it to Avast to confirm my report along with VirusTotal link below

You’re welcome.
I was a little surprised that you hadn’t visited VirusTotal, considering how long you have been on the forums ;D
It is a very handy tool VT, it certainly looks like it could be a false positive hopefully they will get on top of it quickly.
In the meantime you can exclude the file from scans so you can use registry mechanic.
Well I don’t used the forum very much only drop to check the update from the General section, and keep myself up to date on the Avast version etc etc.
You are 100% correct I never used virus total before :o

Well when you don’t have trouble with avast it isn’t that often you would need to visit the forums ;D
