Dear Forum,
Is it possible to relocate the ‘reload’ button in FireFox 4 to the left of the screen next to the ‘backwards’ and ‘forwards’ arrows?
Thanks!

Right click the toolbar, and choose customise.
The reload button then becomes one that you can move.
I have also moved it to the right of the back/forward buttons

You’re welcome
Maybe a little off-topic, but closely related … is there any way to move (or better yet, copy) menu items to the toolbar? Specifically, I’d love to have a “clear recent history” button, since I tend to clear the cache several times while I’m online.
Not sure if there is a button that can be added to Firefox. (I can’t get that option in a button…)
Googling it reveals an addon that adds a button for Clear Private Data though it is not updated for version 4…so maybe not yet…

CCleaner is the best tool for cleaning temp, files, cookies and cache.
Agree 100% with Dieselman. Long live CCleaner!
Whilst CC may be the best option, I think MikeBCda is looking more for a quick button…running CCleaner is somewhat more effort, just to do something that can be achieved with one click from the browser window if possible.
More effort…WHAT. :o
If you go into the options of CCleaner and check off “Close when done” then all you need to do is open up CCleaner, click “clean” and walk away. Its takes a mere 2 seconds.
You are missing the point…
Browser button:
-Move mouse to button, click button
CCleaner
-Open CCleaner
-Close browser
-Run CCleaner
-Wait to finish
-Close CCleaner, and Open Browser again
If this is to be done multiple times a session (which is what Mike said) then it can be rather tiresome…
Since MikeBCda is looking at clearing his browsing history whilst within firefox, not leaving firefox to run ccleaner, which would be clearing more than just the firefox browsing history, may be unwanted/overkill.
@ MikeBCda
Personally if you do this regularly I would have though it better not to store browser history in the first place.
Firefox, Options, Privacy, uncheck the Remember my browsing history and or Clear history when Firefox closes.

Firefox 4.0 has a combined Reload and Stop button that appears at the far right of the location bar.
Open the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window to move them out of the location bar.
Swap the two buttons or move them to their previous position at the left of the location bar.
If the order is "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
Swap the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.
@ MikeBCda,
I agree with David’s post regarding the FF Tools > Options > Privacy > History settings. However if you are doing something within the browser with sensitive information, for example financial, IMO I would then close the browser and run CCleaner then reopen the browser to be on the safe side as well.
If you are doing that you can go a step further and use Private Browsing.
