I can only assume that you took out a Trial for the Avast Product - You would have had to create a payment mandate (or how would Avast be able to get your payment information), that automatically kicks in at the end of the trial unless previously cancelled.
** Refund request - NOTE you should first cancel any payment mandate (see below) that you may have set up, or this could be actioned, requiring another refund request.
