I got premium licence for anti-theft…
Please advice, as remote control not working. I entered into my profile on Avast website, and one time i was able to turn on/off Siren remotely, but nothing else. It sais, "we are unable to connet to your device.
I have tried with wi-fi and 3G and 4G …
i don’t want to root the phone as i will lose the warranty, (right?.. and i don’t think , avast will pay for fixing, in case it is need be fixed)
So i have payed for something i can’t trust? …

If you want to make full use of anti theft, you need to root the phone.

That’s fine :-/ So, i will loose all the warranty rooting my phone however i have already payed for the application.
I have tried also the SMS … even that won’t work. Why the avast forget to mention this “small” problem, before purchasing?

So, basically nothing gonna work without root?

avast has the option “check connection” on the phone.
Run that 2 or 3 times and let us know the result.

I did it, it’s just requested mobile data enable… I did it - again. (same game i play for hours)
So, mobile data on, wifi off.
I asked my friend to install the app, and send me LOST sms. Nothing happened.
So , why i payed for? :frowning:

Any other idea?

So, i read thru the manual anti-theft part … and it doesn’t tell me any news. I did exactly the same things, in settings.

So , theoritically, no need rooted phone for LOST SMS option… it has to work without that, am i right? So, it doesn’t.

It describes all these fantastic features but none of them works. It makes me sad, as i want to belive i can have some chance to protect my phone in case it would be stolen. :-S

If you run the connection test, what does it say?

Huawei has different style for handling apps. Please assure that antitheft is turned on in settings/ protected apps and networked apps.
