remove avast "apps data sync"

I do not have any Avast applications installed. Not any obvious ones. It could be hidden or named someting unrelatable.
Avast antivirus was installed (surreptitiously) briefly by some other application.

All of that is gone but i cannot remove avast “apps data sync”.

It says I require administrator permission, but it is my own phone. so I sould not require any permissions to remove this.

Could you please help.

  • go to your mobile device Settings
  • go to Security
  • go to Device administrators
  • uncheck/deactivate the Avast Mobile Security
    Please let me know, if it doesn’t help.

I have the same issue… I did as suggested but there is NO Avast product listed as Admin?

Anyone have a new suggestion?

Hi, the only way to get rid of the Avast “apps data sync” is to remove ALL Avast apps.
