Remove Avast notification window

I have uninstalled this product from my laptop,and yet these annoying notifications still appear!

That’s screenshot off my desktop. I’ve turned off all the options and yet this still appears everyday. Please make this stop!!! No offense as I did not like the product,but this unwanted notification keeps appearing. It is not convincing me to purchase anything. I kindly ask to please help me end this,it is too much of an aggressive ad,and on top of that the uninstall has damaged my Windows 7 PC. I don’t wanna upgrade to Windows 10 either just to use Avast Clear. Just please help me get rid of these notifications,thanks! -Isabella

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

The free product has a license/subscription for only one year but you should be able to continue with it. I have only been using Avast Free for 21 years, it suits my requirements.

Have you tried the obvious (though not mentioned), clicked the Continue with free option ?
What Avast program Version are you running.

If however you want to completely remove it:

  • Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, avastclear.exe Avast Removal Tool | Download Avast Clear | Avast and save it to your HDD. Make a note of the steps required or print the page.
  • Note this has to be run from windows safe mode, otherwise Avast’s self defence mode will prevent this.

You should not need to upgrade to Win10 to run avastclear.exe , it should also be good for Win7. (But there is a different avastclear for WinXP).
