Remove Avast Online Security extension

Hi,

I have Win 8.1 and Avast v2014.9.0.2021 and I’d like to remove the Avast Firefox Extension. I’ve searched around and the results don’t fit with the options I’ve got?

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the link @Pondus but I don’t want to uninstall Avast, just the ‘Avast Online Security’ extension in Firefox.

The settings in the 2014.9.0.2021 version of Avast have changed and I can’t find the correct options???

Follow what Pondus mentioned! It will remove Avast Online Security for both IE and firefox. After you uninstalled the AOS do a manual reboot.

Thanks guys, just the job, worked a treat.

Seems like a long way around to do it though compared to the last version.
