How do I remove the “avast: safe” category/label so this does not appear in the subject heading for each of the emails in my Inbox? I am using the latest version of outlook 365.
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
You don’t say what Avast Program you are using, this is possible in the Avast Antivirus Free version in the Mail Shield. This may vary in the Avast One product. The Avast One range of programs has more components, but less configuration.
Is this a local email inbox or on-line ?
Avast Settings > Protection > Core Shields > Mail Shield > uncheck the ‘Add a signature to the end of sent emails’. Note this message doesn’t mention subject heading, so I don’t know if this is a difference in the Avast Antivirus & Avast One product range.
